This rare footage was recorded in 1978 in Berlin and shows Fela Kuti, the undeniable king of Afrobeat music and historic champion of human rights and equal opportunity in Nigeria, performing with his band Africa 70 just one year before he would put forth his candidature for President of Nigeria and be rejected to run for the position.  This is one of the last recorded performances of Fela with Africa 70 and before he founded a new band called Egypt 80.
